Suzie joined IO in 2013 when her neighbor, Veda Bush, invited her to help with some bookkeeping tasks for IO. Having left a teaching career to raise 3 children, she was looking for some part-time work that would still allow her time for family. During her 18 years away from teaching, she led various ministry programs, coordinated the neighborhood swim team, and was the parent sponsor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes at a local middle school.
She currently works part-time for IO as an Associate Care Specialist. If you have any questions about your timesheets, Suzie is the person you need. She also does a number of different administrative tasks for the IO staff.
Suzie has an Early Childhood Education degree from The University of Alabama. In her spare time she and her husband enjoy spending time with their 3 adult children, camping, hiking and riding bikes.
