Cindi Filer
Cindi Filer is Founder and CEO of Innovative Outsourcing, which she started in 1994 after leaving the traditional workforce to raise her children.
Cindi’s passion for people comes through with her dedication to small business HR. She offers her clients invaluable HR information that helps them improve their staff culture, increase retention, and improve their compliance. She also loves to speak to CEO Groups and conferences on hot HR topics.
Cindi graduated from Wake Forest. Married to her husband, Don, Cindi has two children, Matt and Emily. She loves to spend time with her family and travel whenever she can.
Karen Moss
Karen Moss has 30+ years of Human Resources experience, including her most recent position as the Director of People Operations at Epic, LLC. During her eight year tenure, Karen developed and implemented HR programs, policies and practices in talent management, employee engagement, benefits and wellness.
Prior to Epic, Karen led her own HR consulting business. She built her practice on the philosophy that small businesses can and should offer a great work environment built on a solid HR foundation. Karen holds her certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. She is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
Karen and her husband are avid supporters of their local Parkinson’s Foundation chapter. She loves pilates class, walking her dog Cosmo, cooking new dishes, and spending time with family and friends.
Matt Filer
Matt Filer joined the team in 2018. He is the favorite son of our CEO, Cindi Filer, and he decided to come work for her in an Account Manager/Marketing role.
Matt has a passion to bring high-level HR to small businesses of any size. Period. He works with our clients to find the right HR fit for them.
Matt graduated in May of 2016 from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communication Studies and a certificate in Leadership Advancement. Matt loves to travel around the world, play any sport that involves a ball, and surf with his dad.
Amy Clark
A strategic HR leader with a background in executive leadership, legal compliance, and HR innovation, Amy is passionate about aligning human capital with business goals to drive employee satisfaction and company success.
As Chief People Officer at Better Communities Collaborative, Amy built the HR function from the ground up, implementing initiatives like unlimited PTO and paid parental leave, which contributed to doubling the company's size and achieving national recognition.
Her experience also includes leadership roles at ADP, EvoShield, and a multi-state law firm, where she focused on legal compliance, employee relations, and strategic workforce planning. She believes in fostering workplaces built on hard work, empathy, and innovation to attract and retain top talent. I leverage data-driven insights and human-centered solutions to make HR a strategic asset and enhance organizational culture.
Karen Walters
Karen Walters has spent decades providing expert human resource support to world-class organizations such as the Atlanta Falcons, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta United Major League Soccer Team, Unisys Corporation, and the Arthur M. Blank Foundation.
In her career, Karen has provided full-spectrum human resources support ranging from HR compliance to consulting with leaders on organizational culture.
Karen has thrived in start-up HR situations requiring the creation of HR processes, policies and programs. She has also supported the HR needs of small businesses as an HR consultant.
Karen understands the HR practitioner world because she has lived it and capitalizes on her first-hand experience to create effective, clear, user-friendly tools, communications and training materials.
Joel Fox
Joel brings nearly 25 years of extensive Human Resources experience to our team, combining strategic leadership with deep operational expertise. Joel is passionate about advising clients on organizational effectiveness and culture transformation.
Previously, Joel held executive roles including Senior Vice President of HR at Preferred Apartment Communities and a significant tenure of over ten years as Vice President of Human Resources at Floor & Decor, guiding HR functions through periods of substantial growth. His earlier career included foundational HR and training leadership roles at JCPenney.
Joel is recognized as a resourceful and dynamic strategic partner skilled in talent cycle management, organizational development, change leadership, and developing HR solutions closely aligned with business objectives.
Jadonna Williams
Jadonna brings nearly two decades of human resources expertise, combining extensive corporate experience with dedicated small business consulting and coaching. She partners with small businesses to design effective HR strategies and optimize administration, while also coaching entrepreneurs to overcome barriers and successfully launch and scale their ventures.
Prior to becoming a Fractional HR Director, Jadonna spent over ten years developing her skills in HR leadership roles within notable Fortune 500 companies, including Ryder System, Inc. and Aramark.
She holds both the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and a comprehensive Life Coach certification. Jadonna leverages this rich blend of corporate and coaching experience to deliver personalized, actionable solutions that drive real results for her clients.
Tanya Birch
Tanya ventured into the world of HR in New York City over 15 years ago, where she spent four years as AVP of HR for a commercial bank, and administered all HR functions. Her next opportunity led her to Deloitte, where as a Senior Consultant, she helped larger companies navigate HR challenges.
While living in London, England for a two-year period, Tanya was a volunteer for a non-profit organization's job club, devoted to helping people find jobs by teaching them how to improve their resumes, prepare for interviews, and apply for jobs online.
HR work has been a key element in all of her professional jobs. From helping with hiring, recruiting, and training projects for breweries and taprooms to interviewing 150 business owners for two travel guidebooks she's authored.
