Innovative Outsourcing Featured on CNN
On the heels of a government report indicating that 52,000 temporary jobs were added nationwide last month, CNN ran a story about contingent employment. On Sunday, December 13, 2009, CNN contacted Innovative Outsourcing President Cindi Filer requesting an interview with a company associate. Later that afternoon, Innovative Outsourcing Associate Naima Cherot was interviewed on camera and did an outstanding job of detailing the benefits of contingent part-time work. The live interview was broadcast nationwide at 4:40pm.

A local agency called Innovative Outsourcing was created for the sole purpose of helping moms find careers on a part-time basis–alleviating the need to make a choice of working vs. being a stay-at-home mom. Some examples are bookkeepers for 15 hours/week, controllers for 10 hours/week, executive assistants for 25 hours/week and more. It’s just one more way for a mom ‘TO HAVE IT ALL!’”

MARIETTA – When Cindi Filer of Marietta, president of Innovative Outsourcing, quit her corporate job and started her own staffing company 14 years ago, her main goal was to spend more time with her new son.
The wife and mother of two said Marietta-based Innovative Outsourcing began as a way to help other professionals, who also wanted to work fewer hours to be with their families, find part-time jobs in their career fields. Over the past 14 years, her company has found such jobs for about 400 people in metro Atlanta. She employs 50 workers. Read the full article (PDF) >
