Maria is a Georgia-born and raised southern girl who graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance. She spent 16 years working in the insurance industry for AIG and CIGNA before leaving the corporate world in 2004.

After hearing about Innovative Outsourcing from a long-time friend, whom she hadn’t seen in 17 years, Maria registered as a job candidate and accepted her first IO position. When that position ended, IO management didn’t want to lose her and quickly offered her a managerial position. Her bright smile and positive attitude overflow to each associate she comes in contact with, but it’s her hard-working, efficient work habits that make even the most diligent employee tired from just watching her.

Maria and her family are actively involved at St. Peter Chanel Church and, when she’s not working at IO, Maria loves to read, hike, water ski and play with her kids.

She is loyal to her Georgia Bulldawgs and to IO. She’s the first to tell you, “I love meeting all the wonderful candidates and clients in my role at IO. It is so great to be able to help people find jobs that are just right for them. I get to see God work in amazing ways. I have the best job in the world!”
